            Abstract:
According to new medical research, nano complex of Cyclodextrin and Naringenin in the grape fruit can decrease fat and sugar consumption by decreasing their absorption in the human body. Narigenin is a flavonoid found in citrus fruits particularly grape fruit. It is able to 'reprogramme' the liver to burn up excess fat, rather to store it and help in weight loss.

            Objective:
The researcher are confident that this health article is the 1st clue about the supplement effect in our diet which can alter the reaction of our body for our meal. They also claim that the presence of cyclo-dextrin (a sugar) in a nano-complex makes Narigenin palatable. This complex also increase the absorption of Narigenin by 11 times and solubility by 400 times.

            Participants:
            Group of Rats.

            Setting or Place:
This Study appear in the Journal PLoS ONE by M.Shulman, M.Cohen, A. Soto-Gutierrez, H. Yagi, H. Wang. This study is presented by scientist of Harvard and Hebrew University of Jerusalem

            Design:
The research team analysed that when the complex (Narignin inclusion with Cyclodxtrin in a nano complex) was administer to rat  ealier to meal. The results were astonishing with the drop of  VLDL level up to 45%.The Glucose clearance rate aby 64% as compare to Narigenin alone.

            Result of this research:
The result of this health article makes a strong sense that Cyclodextrin-Naringenin complexes can be effectively  used to carry flavonoids.

            Conclusion:
If you enjoy grape fruit then it is a great medical information for you and you must include fruits as a part of balance diet. Along with its action in weight loss it provides about half of daily recommended intak of vitamin C and also boost antioxidants. however, interaction with medications should be monitored.

I have always liked grape fruits and always knew they were very healthy, but never knew they could help in weight loss. Something to think about.

What a coincidence! Whilst I was on the phone to my mother the other day, complaining that I wasn't eating healthily enough and that I wanted to lose some weight, she mentioned to me that grapefruit is great for losing weight for exactly the same reasons you listed!

This is very true. Grape fruit is really great in helping lose some weight. But of course you need to do some exercises and eat healthy too.

Articles like this get me excited. I have been health aware for a while and have slowly been making adjustments to my eating habits. One of the things I started taking more of was grapefruit juice (fresh squeezed). At first I found the taste a little strong but a drop of apple juice helped there. Now here is my point. I have not been looking to loose weight and I would not by any means call this scientific - but my one glass a day - has contributed to me shrinking a considerable amount. I attribute it to this and a slight reduction in carbs at mealtimes. Thank you for this as I will now look into increasing my intake of grapefruit and see if there is a further difference.
