Abstract:
If a person takes a night sleep of less or more than 6-8 hr, than he/she might live 7 year less than the normal person who takes night sleep of 8hr. Sleep imbalance may trigger the ageing process.

Objective:

The main purpose of this research was to find out the relation of time duration of sleep with certain quality parameters of health of human beings.

Design:
It was proposed that sleep duration widely effect the certain parameters of healthy life style including Physical health problems, Social problems and diverse change in death rate.

Setting or place:

This study was conducted in University College of London Medical School on a vast social group of office workers and from CS(Civil Service) departments of London. This is a worthwhile medical information.

Participants:
  • Total Participants: 5450
  • Women: 1450 Women
  • Men: 4.000 Men
  • Color:
  • White people: Major
  • Age range: 32-56 year
  • Duration of study:
  • This health article is formed after the research of 25 years,from 1985 to 2011.

Note: Both,men and women are based on office working class and civil departments of Landon


Results:
The people who took night sleep of less than or more than 6-8 hr, had a "poor process of thought" which resulted in poor cognitive function, poor working of brain leading to more speedy ageing process.

Conclusion:
It is a famous saying that early to bed,early to rise,makes you healthy wealthy and wise. Just have a strict routine of night sleep because nothing is more important than your health and a long healthy life.

I am 42 and I sleep 5 hrs.

Poor sleep patterns affect all aspects of your health. Sleep deprivation can also contribute to weight gain which in itself can lead to even more health problems.
